I applied to host there. . . I didn't get the job, but the menu looks amazing. But mad expensive (but I guess it's par for the course for Rittenhouse Sq.). The Yelp reviews make it sound terrible, but I think a lot of the complaints stem from the kinks associated with being a really new restaurant.

If ya still need a job, everyone's favorite south philly vegan coffee shop might be (is) hiring...

But YES, EXPENSIVE. All of her restaurants are pricey for what you get, but I'm still excited to try BB, eventually.

Whoa, which coffee shop? I just found a job hosting at Cozara (fancypants sushi restaurant near Drexel) but am still kind of looking because I feel like I'm not making enough money. Working in south Philly would be ideal, too.

The beef empanadas were tiny but really tasty. I also got the arepas and a side of black beans and rice. The black beans were on point and the arepa was also really good. Pan fried masa bun with tofu, chorizo and avocado filling, and a little plain Tofutti sour cream, which could easily be dressed up for that price point. It should come with a side of something, but it doesn't. Partner got the beef burrito which he said was really good but tiny for the price, which it was. I'd like to try their tacos next time, even though they are all Gardein fillings. Expensive, yes, but it's Rittenhouse.

need to get there still. the part where its expensive and small portions for tacos and such is tough for me since there are so many places to get good cheap tacos/burritos/nachos.
