you guys should go here: http://viragobakingcompany.com/ Okay, I know that Lansdale isn't Philly, but it's and easy R5 ride out to this bakery. Seriously the best cupcakes i've ever had, and their lemon bars are insane good. they have some non vegan gluten free stuff, but their vegan stuff is so good and they are run by really good people and have an AWESOME BAKER NAMED ROSEMARY (who is the person I biked to nebraska with.)

my parents live a few miles from there, and i always tell myself that i want to make a detour, but i never do.

Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. . . . I thought the closest vegan bakery to me was Vegan Treats . . . but this one is closer! (Of course, I will still provide my patronage to Vegan Treats, because they are awesome.) Squee!

(and i don't think virago is 100% vegan. they just have vegan options.)

I've been meaning to stop by Virago as I work really close to there. There is a raw foods cafe right down the street from it too (Arnolds Cafe).

I lived in Lansdale 4 1/2 years ago.. Wish this was there back then! At least Arnolds was and that Asian market.. and I guess I'll count the crappy Whole Foods right down the road.
