Hi all. I have recently taken to bicycle touring and so far have just been making day trips wherever. Looking to combine this with trying out some new food places.

I recently remembered eating at an impossibly charming vegetarian spot called Balasia in the Lehigh Valley some years ago. It was amazing and the aesthetic was perfect. I am sad to read that it has since closed. Bummer!

Could anyone in suggest any other small-town vegetarian/vegan eats around the Philly area? The more isolated, the better. That tends to make for easier rides. Thanks in advance!

Have you been to Vge, Su Tao, Blue Sage, and Sprig & Vine?

I'm also sad that Balasia closed. I really miss their predecessor, The Green Cafe. They made a tofu burger that was the only form of tofu I ate for years until I actually learned how to cook the stuff.

There's a Chinese restaurant in Blue Bell called East which has good vegan options.

If I'm not mistaken, she opened up a new spot, called the Honey Underground.

Also in the Lehigh Valley is Alando's Kitchen. It's Kenyan food, with TONS of options from what I understand. I've never eaten there.
