I'm really bad at meeting new people, so I pretty much hung out with annabazoo all night. Which still counts as meeting someone new because we had never met before hipcityveg, but I feel bad about not meeting/talking to more people. I bid on Nutcracker tickets at the silent auction but someone outbid me right at the end. Which is okay because I was a little unsure about whether I wanted to spend the money or not!

How was it?? I'm so upset I couldn't go! Ughhh! I tried to leave but it was too icy to drive to the train station. Better safe than sorry but what a disappointment. Can we have more Philly meetups/parties to make up for it? :)

Yeah! It will be a bit harder for me to make Philly meetups until the end of January, but i am totally down. If anybody likes art. i really want to make it the Rodin museum. I tried to drive back to baltimore but ended up staying in a hotel. It wasn't super icy, but it was raining/sleeting and i couldn't see the lines on the road so i gave up.

Annabazoo, my hair is not super bright, it's just super long and tinted red. I had a semi-anxiety attack and left early... Haha. I got there right as the good munchies went, too! Patco was delayed because a train got stuck on the bridge (!!!).

I might volunteer for these guys if anyone else is trying to I might see ya around. I'm so down for Philly meet ups too (and art related ones). I have no vegan frands. :O

Anna I'm glad you were safe and stayed in the city!
Most important question about the party - how much did the Vitamix go for?
I'm down for all kinds of meetups! Let's bring the Phorum back to exuberant life.

I actually ended up leaving the city and getting a hotel kinda near the airport. It ended up taking me a really long time to find my way out of the city and then to find a hotel, so i was in my room at the time i shouldve been getting home. Oh well! The whole trip was a really good experience. It isn't often i go do things by myself, so i was really proud that i was able to get up there, find my way around (on my bike in the freezing rain!), and not freak out. I even went to the museum you recommended! Medical stuff is way out of my comfort zone, but i didn't get too icked out. The skeletons were really cool, and i got to see my arm shot off and amputated!
Jaine-pie, i am sorry you had an anxiety attack. :( I really should have brought some sort of PPK signage so we could all find each other.

Anna that's really impressive that you did this anxiety-causing thing all on your own. Pretty awesome. You should feel proud! Next time we should have the nametags that I think Supercarrot made for a past meetup. Oh my goodness they were perfect -- real name, ppk name, AND avatar. It was the most helpful thing ever.

I am proud! Is it bad that i know my way around Philly better than Baltimore, which is ten minutes from my house? And by "my way around" i mean that i can get from the art museum, to HipCity, to Blackbird, to Grindcore.

Oh man I still have my nametag from forever ago but no one would know me because it's my name and avatar from old PPK!

Anna, as soon as I got out of center city after the party I realized the roads were much worse out there so I'm glad you ended up getting a hotel and driving home safe in the morning!

Jaine-pie, I am interning with THL next semester so if you do volunteer with them definitely let me know who you are and we'll be sure to hang out--then you'll have multiple vegan friends!

I have no idea how much the vitamix went for.
