Triangle Tavern in south philly is having a soft opening this week and the vegan menu sounds INCREDIBLE: http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/the-insider/The-revival-of-the-Triangle-Tavern.html

polenta fries, seitan wings, roast beef sandwich, spaghetti and meatballs, LASAGNA!!

JoseJose, the vegan taqueria is opening in June: http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/the-insider/JoseJose-A-vegan-taqueria-in-Rittenhouse.html

Anyone been to Dizengoff yet? Is it usually crowded? Are there tables or is it like a to go place? The website is hella annoying.

Dizengoff is really, really delicious. Not that many tables, mostly a to go place. If you go early, you can snag a table.

I LOVE Dizengoff. I always go really early (like 11am) so it's never busy, but I can see it filling up fast. Oh man, that freakin' pita bread straight out of the oven is insane. And the hummus, it's so smoooooooth!

I tried Triangle Tavern last week. The wings are SO. GOOD. The lasagna was fine, but nothing special. My friends got the meatball sandwich and they really liked it, so I want to try that next. The meatballs are HUGE.

Flora in nearby Jenkintown, PA recently switched over to their Spring menu which features 4 options per course (they do 3 courses for $35 or 4 courses for $40 (includes dessert). They're BYOB so that's a money saver for me. The full menu is up on their website here: http://www.florajenkintown.com/menu-1/

They also just announced that with at least 1 week's notice they offer a 7 courses for $65 per person chef's tasting menu.

A friend of mine was in there a week ago and said they also are very accommodating for gluten free, soy free and raw vegans but recommended calling ahead for reservations due to it only being 18 seats.
