http://www.memphistaproom.com/Another gastropub and a bit north of the city in Kensington but if youve never been go. They have vegan/veg options listed clearly and a rotating menu. Id say go with the veggie burger and add on their coconut bacon. Their coconut bacon itself is worth the trip. They also have legit brunch with a couple offerings oh and beer mimosas...

None of their vegan brunch items are good. Im a hater, I dont care. Seriously, a full plate cafe and dos segundos is the way to go. But if you really want a good brunch, make cornmeal waffles from vegan brunch, get the frozn chkn cutlets from the vietnamese grocery store on 6th and washington, bread them southern style, fry, serve on top of waffles. Real maple syrup, side of home fries browned in a cast iron skillet, you got the best brunch in all of philly in your very own kitchen.

Ok, help me out kids. We are hitting up the Punk Rock Flea Market at 11. Its going to be cold, and I want a hearty sweet/savory fantastic brunch. What will be near me and what do you suggest? French toast is needed!

Went here tonight for the first time. My friend got that tofu, coconut smoked club sandwich thing and it was awesome. I got the coconut curry butternut stew. OMG it was so good. I wish it was bigger than it was because it was so delicious. I'm going to have to try and replicate it. So good. We looked at the brunch menu and said we would come back for the pumpkin french toast, but the reviews here don't make it sound worth it.

I just saw this placed on diners, drive-ins and dives (which I don't usually watch, but I saw "philly" and "tofu" so decided to check it out). Now I really want to try the coconut smoked club sandwich.

Their coconut club is pretty good! I'd get it again. I remember thinking it was a little small for a "club sandwich," but I was also ridiculously hungry that night. My friends and I had waited for a table at the new Khyber for over an hour before we gave up and headed to Memphis. I will have to try their veggie burger next time!

It's actually in a really decent neighborhood, very close to Greensgrow, not the slightest bit scary at all. I have never had any concerns about safety there either.

Ok good. Yeah I'm just terrified of Philly in general. And I'm from here! I think I'm just scared of the world. We have to have meetup there.
