My company has a job opening at our central office in Harrisburg. I'm considering applying and my husband wants me to. It would mean a big move for us to a relatively unknown area. I haven't been to Harrisburg or the area in a decade or more. Anyone more familiar with the area and its veganness? Carlise, Hershey, etc?

Damn! When I went (2 years ago) there was a place at I think the Broad Street Market that did vegan breakfasts on Saturdays but I forget now what it was called, and nothing's looking familiar in a quick scan on their website. Sorry, that's not really helpful. I plan on going back in March or so, so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread in case someone comes up with something awesome.

Hi there, I am in Lancaster, about 40 min from Harrisburg. Lots of farmers markets year round. Great yoga studios and communities. I think you will do just fine.

I know this is a bit late, but if you're still looking for recommendations, Carlisle has this nice little natural foods store called Appalachian Whole Foods, on High St. It has more vegan options than you might find at a normal grocery store.
