Hi all,
Tomorrow I will be going to the art museum for the first time and am wondering if there is a vegan or vegan friendly restaurant around there that I can go to afterwards?
I am new to the area and don't get many chances to go into the city to eat and sightsee, so am not really sure where to go.
Thanks!

The Belgian Cafe and Mugshots are both really close to the Art Museum.
The Belgian Cafe has awesome vegan wings and a great beer list. They have a vegan burger and a few more things as well. Everything is clearly labeled on the menu.
Mugshots is a coffeeshop but they have a few sandwiches/wraps and an awesome vegan dessert selection.

Thank you! I think I will try the Mugshots.
I hope I don't get lost.

Just walk straight down Fairmount, the prison will be on your left, can't miss it. Mugshots is across the street. Jacks Firehouse has some vegan friendly options. Rembrandts usually has 1 vegan menu item too. If it is brunch time Sabrinas 2 is good. 19 and Callowhill. Wholefoods is close on 21 and Callowhill across from the site of the new Barnes Museum. DOnt forget to check out the Rodin Museum

I went to Mugshots and had the BLT and brownie. Thank you so much for mentioning that place. I took a picture but have no idea how to attach it

Ha glad you liked it and it worked out! Coincidentally enough, after mentioning it I had a craving so I went there for lunch yesterday too!

wow, cool. Maybe we were there at the same time. Beforehand I went on the tour at the Eastern State Penitentiary...that was amazing and very interesting!

Kinda late, but Mama's Vegetarian isn't too far away from there. Yummy falafel!
