Oo, I'll try that! I am excited, but hope it is better than the lasagne.

I imagine it will be the same sticky pasta as the lasagne so I'll try it but I'm not holding out much hope.

I tried the quorn fishless fingers but was not impressed, prefer the vibes ones. Lots of people online are raving about how great they are though, so they are worth trying in case you turn out to be one of the people who love them.

I finally found the big bar of white chocolate in Sainsbury's and it's lovely! I love white chocolate. Gonna see how well it melts later this week.

Cauldron now have a 'sweet ginger' flavour tofu. Only Waitrose are selling it at the moment so I haven't tried it but let us know if you have.

OOh I like the sound of that! I didn't see it in my Waitrose at the weekend, but then I wasn't looking for it. I will keep my eye out next time I am in there.

The Cauldron website has some really good recipes for the sweet ginger tofu, but my Waitrose doesn't have any (I've been three times now to check)!

Hope you find them soon, jogirl.

Has anyone tried the new Linda McCartney scampi bites yet? I haven't been able to find them yet but apparently they've only just come out. I tried their hoisin shredded duck last night and was pretty impressed.

I like the shredded duck. I've not seen the scampi anywhere though. Disappointed their chicken pies aren't vegan as I love the country pies. So handy to have In the freezer for days when I need something I can just throw in the oven.

I just saw the Cauldron ginger tofu at Sainsbury's today, if anyone is looking for it, but I didn't buy any myself. Also haven't seen the scampi - anyone know who's meant to be carrying it?

Afaik, just Tesco are carrying the scampi at the moment, but I'm sure it'll eventually be rolled out in more supermarkets like most of their products.

I found some novelty ice creams (magnum and cornetto type) by Whole Creations at Waitrose. They're forking vile. The ice cream is so bland and the hazelnuts on the cornetto were weird. The chocolate was waxy and tasteless. And they're almost twice as expensive as the better ones at Morrison's. Avoid unless you hate life (or want to).

Linda Mc is doing mini pork and apple sausage rolls. Just Asda are selling them at the moment.

Apparently Tesco have revamped their vegan cheese range and now have a load of new things made by Sheese. I thought theirs was already repackaged Sheese but this is different it seems. It'll be interesting to see how the taste differs from Sainsburys, if at all. Sainsburys new cheese definitely tastes different to Tescos old cheese.

I've seen some, its coconut based, there is a mature cheddar, jalapeno and a hard italian style

The sausage rolls were ok. I'm not sure what you're supposed to eat them with though. I feel like eating a pile of them for lunch wasn't a great idea- feel a bit odd now.

Asda also had Linda McCartney "pulled chicken". (In the freezer section next to the sausage rolls.) I got a packet but haven't tried it yet.

Tesco now sell own-brand vegan plain yogurt in big tubs. It is genuinely plain/ unsweetened and tasted good. It isn't the super-thick strained style, just normal yogurt.

Our Tesco had the new cheeses: Grated mozz, strong cheddar, jalapeno, red Leicester slices, blue cheese and parm. I had the jalapeno in a toastie last night and it was good. Still rank when it's not melted though.

New vegan wrap in Starbucks, there is apparently a Kale and jalapeno 'bites' with a 'California style' slaw. Looks vegan as far as I can tell. Nutritional info available on the website.

The new Starbucks wrap is actually labelled Vegan. I had it cold and enjoyed it, the jalapeno gives it a bit of a kick. I will try it warmed up next time.
