I think we are going to have to abandon it. The weather is going to get much worse overnight tonight and be raining on and off all weekend. According to the BBC, the rain is due to start in Brighton at 1pm on Saturday!
Let's do Waikikamoo instead.

I think we definitely have to abandon the picnic, the weather's SO shiitake! Maybe we can try again in August! Do you think we should reschedule for a nicer day? Or...at least for me :( I want to see everyone but I don't think i can financially justify coming there to go to a restaurant, you know? Does that make sense (and also sound incredibly rude)?

It doesn't sound rude! I get what you mean. If you wanna come down another time I'd be free for a picnic on the 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th or 19th of August. I can't promise the weather'll be good but it'll probably be better than this rainy shiitake!

If lots of people can't come (and the weather is balls) then maybe reschedule? I don't think I can make most of those other dates, but will have a better idea if/when my volunteer schedule is confirmed.

Hey loveys, sorry for radio silence. Bry & I deffo can't make this weekend, but late August dates would be great for a reschedule as hopefully he'll be able to walk more easily and I'll be able to drive again.
