I discovered iherb the other day & it's awesome! They're based in the US but the shipping to the UK is really cheap if you keep the package under 4lbs, when you put stuff in the cart it adds up the weight so it's really easy to calculate. There's an international thing to click at the bottom of the page I linked to to get the shipping info.

I ordered Eco Planet Cheese Crackers (I LOVE these!) and Edward & Sons No Chicken Buillon Cubes but they also have Super Smoocher & Hurraw lip balms way cheaper than we can get them here, Marshmallow Treats, Dandies, Chocolove bars, Tinkyada spinach spaghetti & Boom Choco Boom rice milk bars. Not everything's vegan but you can search 'vegan' and loads of stuff comes up.

They sent me a coupon code to pass onto friends & family for $5 off your first purchase so if you order something use the code JOJ321.

I'm not in England but I love iherb! I ordered my 2 diva cups off their site and also had my SIL order her diva cup off iherb too! I haven't really done the food thing on the site but I love how cheap it is and you can usually find a coupon code to make things even cheaper! Thanks for passing your code on too!

They sell Bob's Red Mill Vital Wheat Gluten, which would work out much cheaper than any of the places over here. Unfortunately, it's sold out but I will definitely be ordering again.

Balls. I wish I'd seen this a month ago. They have some stuff I ordered for my sister to send me cheaper than I paid for it. Oh well. I know for next time!

Yay, I'm excited you guys are enjoying iherb too! I was so overexcited when I saw the Eco Planet Cheese Crackers on there, I'd been wanting to order them from Vegan Essentials for over a year but I hadn't been able to justify the shipping.

Thanks Jojo, I've order gluten flour, dandies (whoot!) and some cheddar crackers (on your recommendation) and used your code for a discount. Lovely!

How long did it take for your order to arrive? I got the dispatch email a few days ago, and I'm curious.

So much choice! Aside from vwg and dandies, I don't know where to start!

It's by weight so lip balms & marshmallow treats are good options to go alongside VWG.

Just thought you might like to know about this before ordering any supplements; I have a £12 customs fee for a £20 order... which is a bit of a bugger.

Ooh, everything is 10% off right now! I don't know if they'll also accept the $5 coupon code as well, but I'll report back if they do. Low Carb Megastore still doesn't have vwg, so I'll probably order from iherb.

ETA - Yep, you can still use the coupon code! Awesome.

That's annoying, I spent around that & didn't get a fee at all. Just out of interest what did you order?

So I just placed an order! I got some vwg, Late July vanilla bean and green tea sandwich cookies, Edward & Sons Chreesy Mash, E&S not-chicken bullion cubes, kelp granules (for making things taste fishy!), and vitamin C fruit candies. I'm excited. And it was all less than £15 including shipping.

Jojo's code was still working for me, but if anyone needs a different code, you can use QIC614.

Those sandwich cookies sound delicious Rachel, I'm adding them to my list of things to order next time.

Supplements rather than food. It still works out roughly cheaper than if I bought it here, so I'm not complaining too much. Alarmingly high customs fees are part and parcel of buying across borders, sadly.

I'm so impressed! Everything was so cheap and my order got here in a week. Will definitely order again.

Thanks Jojo for the heads up and code.

I don't like these dandies though, am I supposed to just cook with them or something rather than just eat?

I investigated the duty and customs thing. VAT is applied to anything over £15, and then Royal Mail charge an £8 handling fee for anything that occurs a customs charge. So, basically, if you go over £15 you are likely to end up paying at least £23 with the charges.

Yeah, it used to be about £18 until recently and it's so bloody annoying. I've only ever been caught out twice (both times with BuyOlympia for some reason) and I think that was because of slight changes in the exchange rate and being a wee bit too close to the wire when I ordered. Some lovely companies always mark their packages as 'gifts' on the customs form so I know I'm ok exceeding the limit with them, but urgh. It's not the tax thing, it's that forking £8 random fee. It's not like Royal Mail give me £8 when the postie doesn't even attempt to deliver a package and just sticks the 'you were out' card through the letterbox (more than once I have opened the door when that's happened and yelled I AM NOT OUT, YOU FORKER, I AM RIGHT HERE!!!) or when, like a couple of weeks ago, they managed to lose a package in the sorting office for over a week because the guy couldn't remember where he put it. Sorry. Rant. It makes me so mad though!

Anyhoo! I ordered last week and got some dandies and vwg and those delicious delicious Eco Planet crackers today. Yum.

You can just eat them, but maybe make some rice krispie cakes or smores or something with them!
