I might be. It depends how little I get paid at the end of this month, but I haven't been anywhere for ages, or met anyone at all from the PPK forum, so it would be a fun thing to do.

Me me me! For both days!

Where shall we eat? Ms Cupcake? (Oooh & Franco Manca, the pizza place down the street - you can take your own cheese!) Mildreds? burritos? SAF? Manna? Maoz?

What do people want to do apart from eat? Touristy stuff? Museums? Markets? Shopping? Drinking?

Who else is in?

I'm in!

Has anyone been to the Karma Free Pizza Company in Harrow? I saw delicious looking pictures of their pizza somewhere.

This is going to be quite some weekend!

Mendelian I'm not that up for trekking out to Harrow for pizza because I can get really good vegan cheese pizza in Brighton.

Another place I'd like to go is Pogo if anyone's up for brunch / lunch there one day?

Fair enough, jojo. Most of the places you suggested I haven't been to (with the exception of Ms Cupcake, but I don't mind going there again!), so I'm going to have to defer to your judgement as to where's best for eating.

No pressure or anything!

Gah! Is the 11th of February national Organise Things Gulliver Can't Go To Day? My mother's visiting and I have to work and now this. I'd really like to come; I haven't been to London for a while and this sounds fun.

Boo!

Have fun, though!

Meh. Secretly started looking at flights and stuff because I reeeeaaally wanted to see Absent Friends at the Harold Pinter Theatre - and now I'm suddenly totally broke and can't go anyway. Damn you, landlord! :(

Ok so I think I can come if I can find money to do so. I have the time off again. It appears to be about the same price to fly as it is to take the train, but I need to know where in London to fly or train into! So many options! Help?

Most (all?) of the train stations are either on the tube or have good connections to the tube, so I'd probably go with the cheapest option. I think Luton is the most pain-in-the-ass airport in terms of getting into the city because it's not on a train line, but all the others are: Gatwick links to Victoria; Stansted to Liverpool; Heathrow to Paddington and City is on the DLR.

I'm a few blocks from Liverpool station so if you decide to do Stansted I can be your greeter-girl.

Me too!

Shall we meet up at Ms Cupcake at 12.30 on Saturday for cupcakes & Franco Manco pizza? Then we can decide what do do from there & where to eat dinner. Mildreds would be great but it's not that easy to get a table for more than 4 I'd be happy with something cheaper like Maoz or InSpiral in Camden. Does anyone have preferences for what to do between lunch & dinner?

I don't know if I can be around all day Sunday but I'd definitely like to go to Pogo for brunch/lunch if people are up for it.

It's expensive, I think... a friend told me she got a £50 return and I'm looking at prices about 50% more than that or double. Plus I have to get a place to stay overnight as well as other transport from whatever airport.
Maybe it'd be better to wait and come to vegfest? RJM you should stay for that. <3

Jojo that sounds good but I would love to go to Inspiral! I've never been. That's the place with the raw crazy flavor ice cream right? Am I thinking of something else? And I do adore Maoz but I lived near 2 in Philly so I'd rather do something else. But it's fine still if we do. Whatever!

Meggs if you can't come I'll try to see you somehow!

IsSpiral it is then! I love it there & yep it's the place with the crazy awesome raw ice creams. Their mint choc chip is pretty much my favourite ice cream in the world!

Oh I'm so excited! So that's dinner Saturday? Do they take reservations? I mean bookings :) It's right near the Camden Lock market right? I haven't been there in a few years; is it worth a look before dinner? I can't wait. So who is in for which days? I hope everyone for everything.

Yep, InSpiral for dinner Saturday. I don't think they take reservations, they're almost always busy but I've always managed to get a table in the end. I'm so excited, I just checked out the website & they've added new dishes since I was last there! Camden's definitely worth looking around before dinner. I just booked my train tickets!

Yay!! I guess it's a good location for a no-reservation place bc we can look at the market if there's a long wait. Where will you be staying? I would totally love to invite everyone to stay with me but I'm a guest myself (and there is barely room for my suitcase...and nowhere to sleep if we get in a fight :P).
