Favourite non dairy milk?

Almond Breeze (unsweetened and chocolate) is now available at my local Waitrose and it's only £1. That seemed worth mentioning.

Alpro have just come out with a UHT light chocolate soy milk. I bought some, but since it's UHT, it isn't cold yet. I'll report back in a few hours.

I couldn't wait for it to be properly cold. It was decent - better than their usual stuff which just tastes (to me) like liquid cocoa powder. So I imagine it'll be better when it's actually cold.

With regards to fresh chocolate 'milk'.....Tesco's 'Free from' Chocolate cocount milk is the nuts. I know, Tesco is bad but I found this when I helped my Mum with her food shop and it's seriously better than regular chocolate milk.

Yup, mine too!

Plus I was at Tesco today and bought some Alpro fresh almond milk and they gave me a coupon for 45p off hazelnut or almond milk so I went back round and the UHT Alpro was only £1 anyway so I got a litre of hazelnut milk for 55p!

Damn only having these mini versions of stores. Went to Waitrose, Sainsburys, and Tesco and didn't see Almond Breeze, let alone on sale.

I use Kara for everything and anything, and like to have almond milk and hazelnut milk for sweet recipes/cereal/chugging from the carton

I have recently discovered the green sunrise soya milk along with clipper organic english breakfast teabags make THE BEST cup of tea i have had since being vegan.

I never usually have milk in my brew as i never used to buy soya milk much when i first became vegan but after discovering this combination at Tebay services of all places milky tea is back on the menu!

Jealous. The only almond milk I can get is Alpro (very recent addition) which is nice but too sweet and cost £2. There is NO non-dairy milk for as little as £1 here. The normal price would be around £1.50 (and up) per litre for soy milk. You can find one shop-brand for approx £1.20, but that would require a trek across town so cancelled out by bus fare.

I always buy soy milk because I like that best in coffee, but I have discovered that a 50/50 mixture of soy and Oatly Chai is very nice (I don't like straight up oat milk with coffee).

I usually stick with Tesco everyday value unsweetened soya milk because it is so cheap but I buy a carton of Rice Dream every two weeks for baking. The almond Alpro and Hazelnut Alpro appeared on Tesco online recently so I got them to try them. The Almond is lovely heated up in the evening or in pancakes. Haven't tried the Hazelnut yet.

I've been buying Sainsbury's LoveSoya unsweetened fresh soy milk instead of Alpro because it's cheaper. It's pretty much the same taste and calorie wise!

I love oat milk on my cereals. Tried soy milk, couldn't get along with it. Tried hazelnut milk, too sweet. The oat milk is the one for me, we're in a committed monogamous relationship, me and oat milk.

I thought the problem was with the Morissons & Asda value soya milks? The Sainsburys one is definitely labelled vegan.

Apparently not so anymore - my source said they were now offering refunds to people who had bought it believing the labelling. Will email now instead of time wasting watching cat videos on youtube!
