I went to Tesco specifically for that cheese and THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT. this is at a giant tesco! They had none of the cheeses! I bought a load of yoghurts instead though. The Raspberry & Passion Fruit is aaamazing.

I really like the lemon yogurts in Tesco. I think I must've used to eat lemon yogurts as a kid or something as they taste all familiar and make me happy!

I couldn't think of a better place for this.

Has anyone had the Linda McCartney sausages lately? I just bought a pack for the first time in ages, and they seemed much different. They're better than they used to be - less, for lack of a better word, crusty. I still prefer the Sainsbury's own brand, but they're much improved. And they're on sale at Tesco - £1.50.

I still get them as they're the most easily available veggie sausages around here. They've definitely become nicer over the last year or so - omnihusband now prefers them to "real" sausages *happydance*

They are my snossage of choice in a crusty roll with spread, lots of ketchup and a big mug of tea on the side :)

I think the ones from the fridge are better than the frozen ones too.

I like Fry's sausages, it's a shame they are much more expensive - the traditional banger sausages that is. I tried the hot-dogs and they were a little bland, I think redwoods hot-dogs are better. I also really like Violife cheese slices. I fed a slice to my guy and 2 other cheese eaters, and they thought it was convincing. Tastes like a cross between processed burger cheese and Leerdammer cheese so I'm told. I think the texture is pretty spot on too, not starchy like vegan cheeses can be. It doesn't melt too great though, in fact when I put it on a burger on the BBQ the edges of it curled upwards. I think its best cold on a sandwich.

I love the violife slices too :) Definitely agree with what you've said though; I was super happy to have made a pretty good cheese and tomato sandwich from them a while back, but they didn't melt too well.

Violife is the same brand as veganic right? I had some veganic on pizza on Sunday. Tasted delicious but I had a terrible stomach ache all the rest of the day, I don't know if it was that our my mum had given me caffeine coffee by accident but I'm wary to have more now!

They use cheese from veganics, which I hadn't even heard of before, but it's really good

Not sure if this has already been reviewed, but picked up some creme caramel from the Tesco Free From range. Even says 'vegan' on the pack. Tasty stuff. It's been a while since I've had real creme caramel and it's not quite like that, but it's pretty close to the omni chiller cabinet stuff I remember. Will totally be buying it again.

Yes I've had the creme caramel from Tesco before...their free from range is really good. I especially like the raspberry and passion fruit yogurts they do.

I wasn't keen on the texture of the creme caramels, but they made a tasty addition to porridge, I thought.

Really digging Redwoods meatballs. They are awesome, They don't last 2 seconds when I get hold of a packet.
Also Razzle Dazzle cocodough ice cream, I felt like crying with happiness when I was sat in bed with my boyfriend, with my pint of ice cream as he ate his pint of Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream. Just being able to eat it out of a carton rather than go through the hassle of making my own from scratch, or making a healthy version out of raw stuff only to eat it out of a bowl.
It was nice to just indulge a bit and I liked the nostalgia I got from it.

Apparently the Handmade Burger Co have a vegan burger now, I'll have to go and try it - my dad likes that place and I've often gone and had salad/chargrilled veg and chips (which are very tasty!) and now theres a chickpea and quinoa burger that's vegan. Sounds a bit dry to me but we'll see if it's any good!

I tried the Granovita Mock Duck for the first time today and somehow accidentally managed to eat a whole tin! It's so tasty and delicious :)

ok so the taifun basil tofu - I always just eat cold out the pack but yesterday I shoved it in the oven while I was roasting my veggies and it was soooo much better. Probably old news to most but I'd not tried it before.
