I just discovered mock duck recently too. I was wary of the idea of fake meat in a tin, but it's the best thing!! Quite possibly my favourite fake meat product. And I always eat the whole tin at once. To me that is a normal serving size...

I was apprehensive because it came in a can too. It sounds really yicky.
I like getting the canned mock meats from asian supermarkets too.
I either get mock duck, drain and rinse it, chop it up a bit, then fry it for a few minutes with some soy sauce, and then have it with some pancake rolls, cucumber, spring onion and hoi sin sauce. Phuck wraps!

Or I get canned, mock chicken, pork or duck and drain and rinse it, then roll it in corn flour and deep fry till its crispy on the outside, then drain it on a paper towel and then just get a jar of sharwoods kung po or sweet and sour sauce, and add some chopped peppers and peanuts/cashews and spring onion or what have you ,and throw it all together and have with some rice.
DELICIOUS.

I really miss the mustard tofu blocks, I would eat them straight from the packet.

You've inspired me, I'm now going to the Asian supermarket to stock up....also, phuck wraps is just genius.

I really like Vbites mince. It's not like mince exactly, it's "flakey" i suppose. It is expensive, but it's justifiable in my eyes when H&B have it in the penny sale, which it is at the moment.

My parents were lovely enough to put together a hamper for me for Christmas, and in it, they bought me one of those Mrs Crimbles cakes, which i always see in Holland & Barrett but never paid any mind to it. Anyway, it's the Dutch Apple Cake one, it's really nice! A bit on the dry side, as you might expect a cake with a long shelf life to be, but I like it. I often dip cake in non- dairy milk anyway so that sorts it out.

I had my first vego bar today. I enjoyed it, like all the good bits of ferrero rocher but without the rubbish wafer bit (and obviously without the animal stuff). But too big for someone with no self control to save some for another day!

Those vego bars are filth. They're delicious.
