Has anyone noticed this? I can't even remember what they were called - potato crunchies? I rarely go to Morrisons but was there today and they weren't anywhere to be seen nor a space where they should be. I only use them for a couple recipes but wouldn't want to be without them.

I don't remember seeing totsesque things in Morrisons, but maybe these would be a suitable replacement? http://groceries.iceland.co.uk/iceland- ... kg/p/54851

NOPE. Those aren't even reasonably near tots. Small potato things =/= tots.

Yeah, I mean the Morrisons things aren't exactly tots but they're the very closest I've tried here.

Yeah, sorry. I've always had only the haziest idea of what tots are. I thought they were those things, but after I posted that link I looked them up. There must be someone making a similar product with potato offcuts though!

I'm happy with the Morrisons ones. If anyone can confirm they were called potato crunchies I'll mail them to ask if it's just my branch.

Wikipedia confirms that is what they are called by Morrisons.

Hahahhahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhahahaha. I spend my working life telling students not to rely on Wikipedia and then it tells me, against all odds, what the Morrisons version of tots is called.

I only clicked on this because I thought that someone made a tot sub (sandwich as in submarine sandwich) and I was curious. Now I am sad that it does not exist.

I only clicked on this because I thought some kids had been set adrift on a submarine. Sponsored by Morrisons. Bit like The Bridge, but more underwater. And sponsored by Morrisons.

So sad.

I immediately thought of the Double Deckers (showing my age a bit here).
