Interesting. The salt used is black salt which will give it a slightly sulphurous taste.

Finally someone who actually did something with kala namak and molecular gastronomy, it's one of those things you want to do but never can find the time or money to do. But I don't think this will be much more than a novelty if it's price, I will probably go for a scrambled tofu with kala namak whenever I'm in the mood for something eggy (and that's not often).
