Quorn soup? That surprised me but I suppose people make chicken soup. I'm glad they're finally expanding their options.

Finally got the tesco magnums. I was sick so I ate 2 yesterday evening. Sad that the sticks for them are pretty useless though.

I would be interested in the Quorn soups right about now. I bet they would make me feel less crepe.

Sainsbury's have released a whole new range of vegan cheeses (made by Sheese). Including grated cheese, wensleydale + cranberries, cheese spreads...

I'm so sad that it's made by Sheese. I do still want to try the feta but I HATE sheese and it's gross chemical taste.

There's been a recall on these! Some of the containers have regular quorn instead of the vegan pieces in!

I, too, am sad about those new cheeses being Sheese. Not a fan at all.

I don't mind sheese, so I'm okay with it. I went to sainsbury's today and got a couple of packets, the onion one and the grated one. I can't imagine a supermarket actually developing their own cheese tbh, not at the moment.

The Wensleydale is like their Christmas one and the cheddar and onion one is very cheap tasting. Meh!

Apparently they're also doing a vegan lasagna ready meal, and possibly some other ready meals.

Good & bad news! Tesco has the new Alpro ice creams! Well it did on its website, so I added them to my grocery delivery. BUT, they were 'unavailable' at delivery. booo!

Lasagna sounds rad, though!

Oh yeah the alpro ice cream... i tried the choc hazelnut one that everyone is raving about on FB. Disappointed! It was ok but nothing special.

Edit: also, there's been a few new vegan offerings in chain restaurants!

Zizzi have added new options (included a dessert calzone which sounds awesome!). Harvester have a few options, labelled vegan, including a dessert. Bella Italia are also now labelling their options and also have a dessert.

Change is happening! :)

I picked up a selection of the vegan cheeses from Sainsburys. I'm gonna film a taste test later, wish me luck! Hoping they are not as vile as I remember sheese being!

Well I've been having the grated one the last couple of nights and I like it. It's quite strong smelling (my husband says it reminds him of mature cheddar) but tastes good. My husband is fairly new to veganism and vegan cheese (he went vegan in March) and for him to praise a vegan cheese means it must be doing something right!

Quorn or Sainsburys? I see Quorn currently have a lasagna ready meal with dairy cheese- are they going to bring out a vegan one? I would love that so much, even if it tastes really salty and preservative-y and is overpriced.

Sainsburys. I saw it last night when I was buying the cheese. It looked grim so I left it!

I tried the lasagne at the weekend (because all the cheese had sold out and I wanted to buy something!), it was ok, the sauces were all a bit mixed up and as it has courgette it was a little watery. The main problem for me was that as it was a general free from product the pasta was a bit dry and stuck to my teeth quite a bit.

I probably wouldn't rush to buy it again which is a shame.
