I'm going on the hunt for discounted eggs tomorrow! I was too tight to pay full price for myself!

Good luck but don't get your hopes up - I was looking a few days before Easter but couldn't find any full price!

Yep, I scoured Wiltshire and Dorset looking for the elusive white eggs before Easter - only found the caramel and milk-choc style ones. If you find a stash somewhere, let me know!

I finally found that cappuccino soy milk! I had to go out to Corstorphine to the Tesco Extra, but they had it! It's good, but really sweet.

Vegan Nutella...made by a lovely friend. Never ever had nutella before, but am addicted now, ate most of it straight from the jar.

I've never been a fan of nutella or similar either but Chocolate hazelnut icecream-like sorbet (from Boho Gelato in Brighton) it is fantastic!

I only read back a few pages, so apologies if this has been posted already. Sainsbury's has new food colorings, and they are all labelled suitable for vegans. There's also a cola flavoring!

I saw your post on Twitter/FB (can't remember where it was now) and went out and bought red food colouring just because I could. I was in Sainsbury's and thought, I don't actually need this for anything, but it's here, so I'm getting it.

Not a food item, but very useful and very good.

I bought a Villaware 1000W blender. A snip at less than £55 and has a decent warranty period on it. It's whizzed my cashews down into cream in record time.

has anyone tried the Tesco Soya Smoked cheese? (http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/ ... 2770738740) looks interesting.

Nope but I'm definitely gonna buy some next time I'm in there. I used to love those dirty tubes of smoked cheese in my pregan days, so I'm hoping it's something like that.

I know, I really don't like sheese but the whatever they do to the stuff they make for tesco lessens that chemically sheese taste a lot! I actually quite like their melty medium cheese or whatever it is. The bright orange one!

Do you? Maybe I'm just loosing my tastebuds then. Probably down to my vegan protein deficiency.

I bought one of the cheeses from Tesco and it smelled so bad that I wanted to barf. I didn't get past that and it just sat in my fridge until it was time to go in the bin. I just haven't found a vegan cheese that I like and I don't think I will at this point.

The food doctor soya/corn crisps in the wasabi and sweet chilli flavours are both awesome and at less than 100 calories I can see myself getting well in to these. The wasabi ones are the kind of hot that hurts your nose but delicious. Both new as far as I am aware.

I used to hate the Sheese taste, but it's totally fine if you throw it in a big sandwich with lots of veggies and some dairy free butter.

My only experience with Food Doctor stuff was horrible, horrible soya nuts that tastes of dust and sadness. Wasabi peas are good, though!

I got one too, very happy with it. Who knows if a vitamix is better but there's no way in hell I can afford one so its neither here nor there. It's certainly effective! I paid £65 in the end, you certainly got a good deal.

There's a new vegan yoghurt in Sainsbury's and it's on offer. Has anyone tried it? There are small pots and then the big pots seem to have raspberry and plain but there wasn't any plain left in ours this morning.
