I've been on a stupid buy-one-second-half-price shopping spree of Crazy Rumors in the local H&B, and I entirely blame you lot. Who the hell needs six new lip balms?

I bought just 2 (must have about 10 others hanging around the house). The mocha is divine, tastes just like Baileys

I've got quite a few on the go - one by the bed, one in the lounge, one in my handbag, one in the pocket of my jacket, another in my coat, one in my car, one in o/h's car . . . now I've listed them I think I have a problem!

I just read a thing that said Tesco are supporting/sponsoring Vegetarian Week (?) in May and have created a pretty massive new line of free from stuff (though at first glance, it looked like most of it was vegetarian rather than vegan). But at least one of the things on the list that I liked the look of is vegan!

Fingers crossed there will be some vegan stuff in there.

I have found a couple of new products online, not sure if they have been posted about before though:

Raw fudge from the people who make Raw Chocolate Pies https://www.rawchocpie.co.uk/Shop/Raw_Deli
Raw chocolate from Coco Caravan: http://www.cococaravan.co.uk/#!store/ci60

It might just be my tablet playing up but I don't see quantities/ weights for the products. I like to know how much I'm getting for my three quid!

That confused me about the Considerit chocolate webpage. They do big bars and small bars but don't say how much each weighs.

Regarding Scoff, if you go to the online shop page it states the fudge is sold in 150G bags & truffles are boxes of 5 :-)

I looked for those yesterday and didn't find them. :( I'll have another look.

I did find a couple of the new things that are vegan. They have an orzo cake (with veg and stuff) and red pepper, sweet corn and ... something else I can't remember, but it's a burger of sorts. I haven't tried them yet, so I'll report back when I have.

Vegourmet Jeezo cheese (which I got at Vx in London) - amazing! The Swiss one I'm particularly keen on, but I also got a mozzarella style one which is incredibly melty.

I went in Tesco today, a lot of the new stuff was out of stock so I couldn't check them. Unfortunately most of the "meaty" stuff like chicken pieces etc still have egg in, but I got the falafel. Its a pretty small bag and the falafel themselves are titchy but only a quid isn't bad.

Okay, so I got the tesco value falafel! It's more like mini onion bhajis than proper falafel but for £1 a bag I am not complaining. Nam nam nam.

There's a new crisp company called Ten Acre Crisps. It looks like everything they make is vegan, including a salt and vinegar and a cheese and onion flavour. I don't know if they're sold anywhere yet - I couldn't find the info on the website (but I wasn't looking that hard).

I spent a while in Tesco inspecting the new frozen veggie range. Its great, unless you're a vegan in which case its pretty pathetic.
They have about 25 new products (2 types of beefless beef, 2 types of ficken, all sorts of bakes, a couple of meals in bags with bulgar wheat) I could only spot 7 that looked vegan (although closer inspection may be needed to confirm):

The aforementioned falafels
Green Thai Vegetable Bakes
Basics Indian Potato Cakes
Basics Vegetable Sausages
Veg shapes coated in cornflakes
Cherry crumble
Apple crumble

Very few are labelled Vegan so closer inspection of ingredients is needed to ensure they are ok, the crumbles are milk & gluten free.

I got the Cheese and Onion in my Vegan Tuck Box, they are really really good! Tuck box sell them in their online shop

Chickpea - regarding the biscuit spread, its great stirred into porridge. I also once used it to replace the peanut butter in the peanut butter blondies in VWAV. They were crunchy and chewy (and a bit oily) but tasted divine

In Tesco a few weeks ago I found Science in Sport bars which look vegan (the company on its website admits all but two bars are dairy free)

The banana fudge bar is lovely

dunno how I missed this initial post ... chocolate ... it calls to me! fudge ... I think I will order some fudge ... we are invited to a house party for Easter week-end & it could be a contribution in assisting the Easter Bunny will filling baskets ...

will of course have to order a bit extra for testing purposes ...
