I tried The Coconut Collaborative's yoghurts yesterday at VDelicious and they're so good! I usually hate coconut and yoghurt but these are awesome. There's an unsweetened one which'd be great with savoury food and the mango one is super yummy too. Apparently you can find them in Waitrose and I spotted them in Infinity Foods this morning so I'm guessing they're in other Health Food Stores too.

These are great, we're selling them at Unicorn Grocery in Manchester too :)

I found 6 new Original Source shower gels, I got Raspberry & Cocoa, Skin Quench Blackcurrant & Moringa Oil and Skin Quench Pineapple & Coconut Oil.
There was also Daily Scrub Blood Orange, Skin Quench Moisturising Shower Watermelon & Jojoba Oil, Skin Quench Moisturising Shower Peach & Apricot Oil

They were in Sainsburys (they have an offer on - some are £1 - others are not. I bought 4 thinking it would be £4 but it was £7 - some are £2.5).
Asda also have the raspberry and cocoa for £1. It smells lovely

Yay!

RE: Original Source shower gels, I don't know if anyone cares and I'm not trying to be all vegan police (by all means keep buying them if you're cool with this!) but the parent company of that brand PZ Cuzzons tests on animals. I switched to LUSH becuase I love them but my dude switched to Superdrug's shower gels which are very similar in price and scent.

Not sure if this is new but I found some powdered vegan parmesan cheese in a health food shop - Bellisimo.
I really like it, kind of reminds me of the old vegan powdered cheese you used to be able to get in the free from section in ASDA, but nicer.
I know that stuff wasn't to everyones taste but it is something I do love to dump on pasta, that makes a nice change from nooch.

No way :( I assumed that as they have the vegan society logo on them that they weren't owned by an animal testing parent company. How crappy.

The owners of Superdrug are not saints either (http://www.ethicalconsumer.org/boycotts ... rdrug.aspx), if a product is vegan (and therefore not tested on animals) I still buy it as the product itself is still Vegan.

That's cool. I am aware that Superdrug aren't saints either. Animal testing is where I draw my line. I wasn't suggesting you need to do the same just passing on the info I have.

Only just saw this - thank you :-) (I hope I didn't sound snarky or rude I just wanted to let people know about Superdrug as well) I understand you're not being the vegan police or anything, but passing on information to help in making an informed decision :-)

Jammy Dodgers Berry Blast

Also Foxs Party Rings and Party Rings and Party Footballs are having the gelatin & carmine removed. Lots of old packs about but the new ones appear vegan

OooooOOooh!

Very excited!
(I hadn't seen party rings since childhood parties, then came across a packet in a shop a few years ago and was so confused at the idea that someone would put gelatine in a biscuit. A biscuit without chewy, gummy, gelatinous bits.)

I've never had party rings, but every time I see them I wish they were vegan.

Has anyone ever tried these Sour Cream and Chives quinoa crisps? I found a huge bag in the 99p store and they are amaaazing. My husband even had to read the ingredients because he couldn't believe they were vegan.

Yeah, they are fab. H&B has just started stocking the 35G bags as well

I noticed those in my local HFS when I was there the other day and thought they looked good, but I think I assumed they weren't vegan! I will get some next time.

I checked for party rings in Tesco today, but they were all still gelatin-filled. I did get a pack of Fox's coconut crinkles though, which I'm munching on now and they're very tasty. The ginger ones appear to be vegan as well.

Yes!! I love those quinoa chips. Holland & Barrett have started selling them. I might go buy some at lunchtime.
