Yes!! I love those quinoa chips. Holland & Barrett have started selling them. I might go buy some at lunchtime.

This is awesome news. I got some in the Tesco free from festival bit but they stopped doing them which made me sad inside.

Guess what!

I am eating them and having flashbacks to childhood birthday parties. They are nicer than I remember, actually.

I tried them Sunday and then remembered I'm not a huge fan of them. They have a blueberry muffin flavour which might be nicer

Yeah I saw the blueberry ones too, thought they sounded good! None of the packs of those were vegan though. I'm sure they will be soon.

I saw party rings in my local Morrisons yesterday and they had new packs alongside old packs, and they looked almost identical. My point is, should you buy more than one pack, be sure to look at the ingredients on each one. In other news they were on offer at less than 80p a packet.

I think they are no longer making them, they now have Raspberry Ripple flavour instead which seems Vegan.
I think they are doing special edition flavours every couple months

I went to Morrisons earlier with the intention of looking for these, but seems I have completely forgotten...

I went to the massive tesco at York and found all the earth balance stuff you guys have mentioned. It's on 4 for 3 too. There was even a part in the life style section labelled vegan! So happy and trying not to eat every thing in one go!

The only thing I've liked from it so far is the peanut butter popcorn - which I didn't really expect to like. I threw away the cheddar popcorn and wasn't a huge
fan of the crisps. I don't even like the peanut butter. So I'm glad it's there but I won't be rushing back. What did you get?

I tried to limit myself so I just go the peanut butter, cheese & the buttery popcorn & I also got some Sriracha which I've never seen in the UK before. I have eaten the peanut & cheese popcorn but have yet to open the buttery one. I was unsure about both of them to start with, as I don't usually eat popcorn, but definite liked by the end of the packets!

I was pretty disappointed with the cheese popcorn. It was a lot less cheesy than I expected it to be.

But, but... it's so good! The bonus of baps not liking it is that I got to eat most of the huge bag! Mega win!

I like the cheese popcorn too! It was more oniony than I was expecting it to be, so it reminded me a bit of cheese and onion flavour, which is just fine by me.

It smelled like wotsits so I was excited but the flavour wasn't strong enough.

No vegan party rings here yet.

I did get a block of violife original on Thursday though and that was pretty good. It melted great on toasted sandwiches and on pizza. Now strangely enough, even though it tasted like cheese it turns out that cheese doesn't have that hypnotic quality over me anymore. I got too used to cheeseless pizza that it was only alright.

I tried the Violife pizza cheese at the weekend. It was quite nice and melty (but I still prefer Daiya on pizzas).
I liked it better raw actually, it reminded me of dutch cheeses like gouda. (Disclaimer - please bear in mind I haven't eaten 'real' gouda for about 23 years so I may not have an accurate recollection!)

I travelled some distance to get to the nearest Tesco participating in the Food Festival thing and got some stuff, Earth Balance sour cream kettle chips and Plentils, both sour cream and something flavours (with onion or chive but can't recall which was which) also toffee popcorn, cookies and a few other things which I haven't tried yet. Sadly I didn't get my hands on most of the things I'd seen in fatgayvegan's blog which is what drove me to seek out this stuff.

Hmmm, seems that the only two NI Tesco stores participating are a fair distance from Belfast. It's kinda stupid to have them outside the most densely populated area.

I didn't like the flavour but even worse was the texture. I checked my bag twice to see if it was out of date, but it wasn't. Kind of
stale and not popped enough.

I got it when I was in brighton from Infinity. I must have a look in the HF shop in Guildford next time I'm there to see if they have it!

I don't know how new this is, but I first saw it at Newcastle veg fest: Vegamigo omelet mix. It's really quite good, and transforms to forking delicious when you add in a bit of garlic and extra nooch. It's a just add water thing, and unlike the Vegg, you don't have to use a blender, just a fork. I defrost some frozen spinach and throw the mix and water into the same bowl, so it takes about 5 minutes for the whole thing to come together. I think it might be my new favourite convenience food.

I got it from Alternative Stores, who have it on their website for £4.50, which is reasonable when you consider I probably got at least 10 omelets from it. I just wish I could get it from Real Foods.
