Whenever it is we have to have a birthday celebration for the amazing birthday twins (mendelian and me). Shhhh doesn't matter when the real day is, only when the celebration is!

You do know it's England we're meeting in, don't you? My whole childhood was fully of picnics in car in the slashing rain, and barbeques in the garage...

Ha! My favourite childhood photo is of my mum, my siblings and I standing on the beach in Bournemouth, in August, in our wellies and raincoats, holding heavy duty plastic sheeting over our heads, while we ate ice cream and smiled for the camera in the pouring rain.
