I didn't notice the D in the ingredients for the Morrison's milk. But anyway, it costs 1p more per litre than Almond breeze (from Morrisons) and has a lower percentage of almonds.

Sorry maybe I mistook it for their own soy milk. One of them has an unknown vit d in!

Found some weird potato crisp things in Iceland. I think they're like crisp/chip things. Either way they had Wotsits and cheese and onion, and beef flavoured hula hoops. Didn't have any animal products in the ingredients list as far as I could see. Just thought I'd mention because it's not often you get non-cheese cheesey flavoured things. You can find them in the frozen potato section.

In M&S they have a vegetable oriental selection in the frozen foods section alongside the vegetable spring rolls.
In the packet of 12 are :4 hand wrapped vegetable spring rolls, 4 hand wrapped mushroom and coconut wontons and 4 hand filled vegetable cones. Not sure if they're new, but they'd be alright for new years/Christmas.

Ooooh, this is something I would buy! I find Marks and Spencer tend to stick animal products in things which don't even need them (their falafel has milk in and their sriracha has fish in!) so this is good to know :)

Marks add milk to a huge number of their bready things - it's really annoying as it's usually one of the last ingredients and entirely pointless.

Yeah Marks annoy me. Mainly because I saw 'veggie percy pigs' the other day with a big 'gelatine free' written on the front. Got super excited then read the ingredients. Beeswax. Fail.

:(

I saw own beetroot falafels in Waitrose which appear vegan. They also had the italian tofu if anyone is interested.

Thanks for posting this, I found them in my local Iceland. I got the Wotsit & beef Hula Hoops (which are very nice).
They also had some McCoys potato things but they had milk in.

Keep an eye on the beef hula hoops. I was buying a pack in a shop near work during the week and just happened to glance at the ingredients list when queuing - bloody milk. Argh.

Did it say they contain milk or "may contain" (made in a factory where milk is used)? The website still doesn't list milk as an ingredient:

Sorry if everyone's totally on this already, but I just found the Lotus biscuit spread in my local sainsburys, next to the peanut butter.

Yup, beef hula hoops in Ireland totally have milk. I checked a couple of newsagents, Tesco and Lidl. All have "contains milk" and not just "may contain". Whey and lactose double whammy.

Boo!

ETA and because Ocado are helpful, it seems that your Iceland ones may be a very happy fluke (worth getting in stocks of!)

Oh there has been a mistake! We are not referring to hula hoop's themselves. Iceland have frozen hula hoop chip like things which are vegan:http://groceries.iceland.co.uk/iceland-potato-hoops-bbq-beef-flavour-700g/p/54850

Imma have to check out Iceland then because I used to love hula hoop crisps.

Wait they're frozen? I don't get it, are they crisps... frozen crisps? Someone on the UK facebook thing said they found frozen wotsits that were vegan too?

Oooh Star! They look pretty good!

Went into Tesco, and their own brand festive apple and cinnamon pies are vegan.
Almost bought them... almost. But I would have had to have bought a tubba swedish glace to go with it - mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Oooh apple and cinnamon pies sound nice!

I had the Bessant & Drury's coconut milk chocolate ice cream ...they're now selling it at tesco for £3.70....still pretty pricey but not more than a Ben and Jerry's or something. and it's delicious!

No its definitely creamy more than icy. There's a definite coconut taste to it which I liked.

Asda seemed to have stopped selling Silver Spoon sugar...and replaced it all with Whitworth's. But, the Whitworth's says on the back "made in GB with British grown sugar beet" - which would indicate vegan-ness, but, I thought Silver Spoon was the only one to grow in the UK?
