Not sure if someone has said this elsewhere and I wasn't really sure where to put it but...
heads up on a couple of previously vegan items from sainsburys that are no longer vegan: strawberry pencils (now have gelatine and beeswax, gag) and the bacon crispies now have milk in. BIG FAT BOO, SAINSBURYS!!

I have speechless as to why they would change it to include those ingredients! Stupidity!
Tesco have cream crackers that cost 26cent for a pack of them. They are so delicious and addictive with some pure marg on them.

Tesco bacon fries are vegan and on the Tesco vegan list the strawberry lances are too. I'm going to assume they are meant to be laces, which aren't quite pencils but still kind of the same. I haven't been able to get them over here though.

The Co-op have both fizzy, and boring-tasting, strawberry laces.

I found some vegan strawberry laces and fizzy belt things in Poundland once. But I never saw them again after that time.

Guys, today my friend messaged me on Facebook telling me Oreos have changed the formula in the UK and they are now vegan.
So I was at Tesco and I checked the packets and, lo and behold, they are VEGAN. I e-mailed them asking if they officially changed the recipe or if this is just a dud but...but...
VEGAN OREOS IN THE UK WOOP

Yep they have. Be careful though because the old ones are still lurking around. I can only find the old ones. Grrrrrr. I need vegan oreos.

I found some of the 'new formula' Oreos in my local Co-op and treated myself to a packet. I'd never had an Oreo before and was slightly underwhelmed. Still, it's nice to know there's an additional biscuit option out there.

Wow, I didn't know about most of these things... Donuts?? Really?
Anyways, if anyone hasn't tried the Nairns Oat Biscuit range, you should drop everything and do so immediately. The dark choc ones are utterly addictive.

thought i'd better share this photo i just took in sainsburys - i have a feeling some of you may appreciate it.... .JPG) VEGAN EASTER EGGS. so impressed with their selection! this was in an especially huge branch of sainsburys, but as you can see they have a range of the 'choices' eggs (a small white chocolate one with white chocolate buttons, and two medium-sized 'milk' chocolate ones; one with chocolate caramels, one with chocolate discs) - all MUCH cheaper than i've seen them online. they also had a dark chocolate egg with a big bar of chocolate, and right at the end is a huge own-brand dark chocolate one wrapped in pretty yellow tissue. AMAZING. i also bought oreos - thanks for the tip-off!

BIG FAT BOO, SAINSBURYS!! More un-vegan-ness! I'm not sure how many were vegan, but Walkers are reformulating their crisps with animal bits instead of artificial flavourings. Info here: http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/food-and-drink/news/not-suitable-for-vegetarians-walkers-new-potato-crisps-range-uses-real-ingredients--including-meat-8513660.html. some dickbag wrote: We are using only Free Range Chicken and Freedom Food Pork to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare. Sticking with the original recipe, which didn't rely on the death of these animals in the first place, would really ensure a high standard of animal welfare.

Sainsbury's delicious veggie sausages have not been seen for some time. They were like Linda McCartney's ones but tastier... I mourn their loss.
