I know. Some in Lidl are vegan. If you google for their vegan list it is on it. I think one of the pound shops has some accidentally vegan sweets but I can't remember which one and what they are.

Murray Mints are vegan ... I bought a packet on the way to work yesterday, put them into a dish they were gone by 11 a.m.

I had no idea they were vegan, I always overlooked them. I might just have a new obsession!

Morrisons have some dark chocolate covered mint creams that look vegan as well

Julian Graves have vegan boiled sweets (like rosy apples, rhubarb & custard) and I'm pretty sure they list whether things are vegan online when you look up individual products - at least they used to.

Are they still around? The ones in Salisbury and Southampton closed down?

Oops, looks like they went to the wall a year ago. Our local one involved a slight detour so I hadn't noticed. Looks like they might be back as The Grape Tree sometime soon.

I'm bummed that so many veg sweeties are made by Nestle. Other companies need to get in line!

Starburst are made by Wrigley, who are owned by Mars, not Nestle. I don't know how evil Mars are, but they're certainly better than Nestle.
