I'm going on holiday in a few weeks time and am a bit boggled after spending quite a while on Trip Advisor and various veggie websites (I am very bad at making decisions).

I was thinking maybe Scarborough or Whitby but have no real preferences. Any recommendations for B&Bs/reasonably priced hotels and places to eat?

Thanks!

This thread should help. Towards the bottom its mainly about Scarborough & Whitby.

Thanks Chickpea, that's useful for places to eat. I'd still like recommendations for accommodation though, which I didn't see in that thread?

Dropscone - We're staying at the Sylvern House b&b in Scarborough. I contacted them about the breakfast, and they seemed really accommodating. (Actually, thanks for the reminder. I need to get back to them!) We're only doing a day trip to Whitby, so I can't really say anything about accommodation there. I think we paid £50 per night at Sylvern House.

When are you going? If we're there at the same time, we should try to have a meal together!

I love Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire myself although it's not really anywhere near the coast, and there's a vegetarian hostel there too which has a double/triple room if you're not into hostelling it: http://hebdenbridgehostel.co.uk/

we're going around 11 July, which I think is the week after you, so if you spot any interesting events around then I'd be interested to hear about them!
