Awesome, thanks for sorting that!

We get in about 4, and then we're heading to the hotel to check in (and possibly nap - we're on a really early train). Luckily we're literally over the road from Moshimo - according to Google, it's a 2 minute walk.

The Festival in Leeds was great. It was really busy & very hot but a good day. Miss Cupcake had sold out of all her stock after about 2 hours!
I was helping on the Vegan Runners stall & everyone that came up to talk was lovely. It was a very inspiring day. I also got to try a vego bar...that chocolate is the best!

I enjoyed it too, I made it just in time to get some treats from Ms Cupcake. Can't believe how quickly everything went! I also got a Vego bar, and tried some Cleo's Peanut Butter Cups for the first time. They are now all I can think about.

Manchester was a bit meh this year, probably because Ms Cupcake wasn't there and (as I mentioned in another thread) nearly every other stall was raw. The venue was much better as far as space for stalls/walking around, but worse for space for sitting (one seating area outside in the baking-hot sun).

We'll probably go if they do it again next year, but it'll mainly just be an excuse to go to Manchester.

Is anyone going to the London Vegan Festival on August 17th? I'm in London on the Friday and Saturday prior to it, at a festival of the musical variety. Just trying to decide whether to stay on an extra day....

The London Vegan Festival is the summer version of the one we always go to at Xmas in Kensington. It's different to London Veg Fest which was in early October last year and is (I think) the last weekend in September this year.

There were quite a few raw stalls but I was surprised how many 'normal' cakes were on sale - I think there were 5 or 6 stalls selling cakes (not counting the raw ones).

I am going both days too! Jojo is speaking too! (Not sure what time though - jojo?) Anyone else? I've never been before. Is there a lot to do? Is it mostly stuff you can buy or is there anything to learn and do? Good food? I can't form sentences at night.

last year there was tons to do! i think i was there the whole day both days (though i'll be minimizing the time i spend there this year because PARENTS IN LONDON). there were cooking demos, stand-up comics, lots of caterers, and GIANT CREAM-FILLED DOUGHNUTS. i haven't looked through the program for this year yet, but you can download it here.
