I have damaged hair from doing several bleach bath's and am looking for a really good deep conditioner. I was all set to get Joico's because I had read somewhere that they were cruelty free and some of their products were vegan but they aren't. I've only been vegan since October 1st this year and I'm slowly but surely learning, I had no idea keratin was animal derived and I only just discovered that yesterday after I'd already brought Joico's violet shampoo :(

Sorry I'm rambling, so yeah deep conditioners to sort my broken hair.

(I think I may have posted this in the wrong forum but not sure how it happened, sorry)

There's a vegan hairdresser in London called the Rabbit Hole. She's on Facebook & would probably advise you if you messaged her. Not sure where you're based but she's excellent if you ever want to have it done professionally!

I deep condition my (also super damaged from over bleaching) hair with 1 part olive oil mixed with 1 part coconut oil. Mine was such a mess that it wouldn't hold fun coloured dye at all but now it's been dark blue for a couple of weeks and I'm not seeing any fading.

When I had bleach-damaged hair I used the Green People intensive conditioner and found it really good

I was going to suggest coconut oil too.

Superdrug has cheap coconut oil for hair. Not fancy but might be a good option for now.
