This opened fairly recently and there's only one review so far on Happy Cow, seems generally positive though. Anyone been yet?

I know there are a few of us in the Midlands, I wondered if anyone fancies a meetup to check it out, maybe in January?

Interesting, my inlaws live in Mountsorrel and we go into Loughborough quite a lot, so I will check this out when we are up there next.

Mat.

Came here from the other thread :D

I'll have to see if I have transport to Loughborough (and um, find out where exactly it is since I suck at geography) but I'd love to come. But I do like the idea of an Alley Cafe meet-up too - I'm addicted to their potato wedges - so I'll start a thread later if enough people would be up for that :)

Ugh whilst an all vegan place is great (though I have to question the demand in Loughborough since even Nottingham couldn't sustain a vegan restaurant) it would appear to be no-oil no-gluten etc & the website has numerous references to 'cleansing' & 'reversing' heart disease & diabetes.

Oops, sorry for leaving this dangling!

I'm doing a really strict budget challenge this month so I'm not sure I can manage a January meet-up but how is 1st weekend of February for folks?

JimXVX - yeah, I noticed the woo on the website but as long as they don't deliver the food with a lecture then I don't see it as relevant to whether I'm going to try the place out or not.

First weekend of Feb would be great for me, January is going to be a cash-strapped month.

First it is! Saturday day or evening, or Sunday lunch? I lean towards Sunday, though I'm not really fussed.
