As long as you don't expect them to be like real croissants...
Actually, just leave them in the fridge and keep the dream alive!

Yes, you do. They have another new one too, Bombay Bhaji (sp?) but I haven't tried that one yet.

The Jusrol croissants and pain au chocolat are really not very good. Using any ready made puff pastry to make your own make a very satisfactory croissant or pain au chocolat. They are still not like the dairy version but they are surprisingly better than the ones that Jusrol have no doubt had tasters and culinary scientists working on! Odd!

Where, pray tell, might such an item be found?

We've found them in the fridge with the ready made pastry in Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

I think they're incredible - I'm not a massive fan of croissants or pain au chocolat here because when we go on holiday we get them fresh from some little boulangerie, but I really like these! We have a fine new tradition of coffee and fresh baked yum on Sunday mornings.

I know it's been mentioned before, but I finally found the gianduiotti at Tesco. So good! I love soft chocolate. I like the one with a bit of crunch to it, but both types are nice. I'm both glad and annoyed that I have to spend about an hour on the bus to get them.

Oo? Which Tesco? I assume it'd be a big one and I see there are superstores listed near Leith Walk and on Broughton Road?

Ah, no, it was the Tesco Extra in Corstophine. I spent a couple of hours on the bus getting there and back (though part of that was because I got on the bus going the wrong way).

Interesting as I've looked in a few large branches recently but haven't managed to find any.

Hazelnut waffles (like the syrup waffle roundy biscuity things, but with hazelnut) - holy shiitake so delicious. Unfortunately (well, probably fortunately) I've only ever seen them in Manchester (got them at Unicorn), so I won't be eating an entire packet of them again for some time.

The Jus-Rol ones are in Tesco. I've never found vegan ones in bakeries, so they're my only option now.

The Jordan's Crunchy Crisp chocolate is delightful. Oat clusters, chocolate curls, hazelnuts - mmm. It's like an adult version of a children's cereal.

Darn you Nature Valley and your darn honey. Honey is now in the maple syrup granola bars.

There's always been honey in those granola bars. It drives me nuts, why do they need maple syrup AND honey! GAH.

Ah shoot! I had them before because I read some where that they didn't have honey. Thankfully that was nearly a year ago and usually I am too broke to buy them.

The onion bhaji one is amazing.

Have Skips recently become vegan or have they always been or am I not seeing an obvious ingredient?
I thought they had milk in but it says just 'may contain' now and despite tasting quite fishy they say suitable for vegetarians.

The branded ones used to contain milk but supermarket own brands tended not to.
