Bogo half off event at Holland and Barrett going on now. I'm not sure when it started, so I don't know how much longer it'll go on.

My local B&M Bargains had 400g tubs of Goodie Good Stuff sugarplums left over from Christmas (but not best before until October 2015) reduced to £1.50.

I was walking around with 4 for a while but managed to make myself put 2 back on the shelf, since I know from experience that once the tubs are open I find it very hard not to just chomp my way through 200g at a time.

Tesco have a 3-for-2 offer on all of their baking aisle items. Unfortunately the flour I like was already sold out but they seemed to expect more stock and I think it's on until at least the end of next week.

Ooh, and they have waffle cone makers for the same price! And I'm almost tempted to get another breadmaker at £29.99, they're so handy for the dough cycle alone.

I wish I'd known that when I was at Tesco earlier! Speaking of which, they have those Belvita biscuits half off.

Whereabouts are the Sarelle? With the biscuits or the chocolate bars or somewhere else? My partner went earlier in the week to one of the large stores and couldn't find them.

Dropscone I found them in Hamilton one, they were in the seasonal aIsle with the Ramadan stuff for some reason. I think they tend to be in world foods. I've never found them in Loughborough though so I think it's an individual store thing, some do some don't.

Aldi are selling "premium French soda" in 750ml bottles for £1.69 (it seems to have been part of last Thursday's special offers so they might not still be available everywhere). That may not seem like much of a bargain but the attraction is that they come in sturdy glass swing-top bottles which on their own I haven't seen retail for less than £2, so the fact they contain soda is just the icing on the cake. Some of the flavours have slightly odd ingredients but the pink lemonade seems pretty safe.

I've been buying these because of the bottles... the drinks themselves are actually pretty good.
