Mornflake Chocolatey Squares are on sale for £1 in Morrisons until around 20 July, BUT they seem to have changed the recipe and now have vitamin D without saying which one it is. I've emailed them but I'm not holding my breath as they didn't answer a previous query.

I think, but can't be sure that Aldi do something similar that looks vegan. If I go in today I will check and report back

Tried the Aldi ones a while back and wasn't that keen, although other people liked them okay.

Got a very prompt response from Mornflake! Unfortunately it's the one I didn't want - the type they are using is D3.

Honest to goodness have stock in. Maybe they have some of the old stock that doesn't have D3 in:

Sainsbury's have 1.25 litre bottles of Copella juices on half price, from £3 to £1.50, until the 22nd of July.

Morrison's have 750 ml bottles of Copella juices half price from £2 to £1, I think until about the 20th of July.

For anyone who's not adverse to doing their grocery shopping online, Ocado has all Fry's products on half price at the moment. They also have a selection of fresh veggies (packs of chard, cavolo nero, baby fennel, baby aubergines, and some other stuff) and smoked garlic for 50p. I just saved £60 on an £80 shop, plus got another £20 off, using this voucher code: VOU6459616 (for new customers who spend £80 or more).

Tesco advent calendars are down to £0.50 . I didn't check use by date but they might still be good for next Christmas. Or for eating now (Tesco dairy free buttons are £0.45 for 25 grams compared to the calendar which is £0.50 for 72 grams)

Marks & Spencer's dark chocolate jazzies/jazzles/whatever they're called (from the Christmas range) down to 60p. They were something ridic like £3 or £4 full price which is why I didn't buy before.

Ooh are those ones vegan? I wasn't sure if they had shellac or whatever in and couldn't remember all the E numbers...

Argh, I'm so glad you pointed that out. I bought them because I saw a vegan blogger post they were vegan but just checked the E numbers and one of them is derived from beeswax. So annoyed.

So sorry for the shinfo guys! Glad I haven't eaten any.

There's a lot of Fry's stuff on offer at Ocado at the moment. Polony, chicken burgers and one or two other things are half price, and most of the rest is buy 4, cheapest is free (or something like that). If you need to make it up to free delivery price the juicing organic fruit and veg boxes are 25% off, which seems like a good deal if you'd buy organic anyway, although they have a cauliflower in this week's box, which I'm dubious would taste very nice juiced!

I got an email about Fry's doing a new 'prawn' product which it said was on special at Ocado.

There are Lotus biscuits in the pound shop! 350g packs and packs of 20 little 2-biscuit packets (312g in total).

They also had packs of 20 individually wrapped Pink Panther wafers, 2 normal packs of Oreos for £1 and "Just Brazils"- dark chocolate covered whole brazil nuts in a chocolate-box-type cardboard box.
