I'd prefer early-ish, but anything is fine, and I'm definitely in for dinner.

Earlyish is good! I dunno how many people?

6:00 pm at Elephant Walk on the 31st? The Boston location. I just noticed that dinner is expensive by Americaland standards so if anyone wants to join me somewhere for a cheap(er) lunch (is My Thai worth it?) I am so there. Do you guys think I need a reservation for EW?

Woohoo! I just checked out the menu! This is going to be awesome. Not sure if a reservation is required or not if it's not going to be a large party. It sounds like it wouldn't be a bad idea based on their website though. Should I call?

I doubt that you'd need a reservation at Elephant Walk on a Wednesday night, but someone could call early that day to check. Whoops, the 31st is a Thursday, heh. I do recommend calling to ask if one would be necessary at least, but since it is an early dinner it may not be. I am tentatively in for dinner there and will confirm a little closer to the date. Also, I recommend keeping an eye on Groupon until then because Elephant Walk has good deals on there pretty frequently.

Lunch is also a possibility for me if you go to My Thai since I can walk there during my break, but I probably won't know until a day or two before since it depends how busy I am at work.

ndpittman, if you don't mind calling, that'd be great! You can put it under my name or yours if you want. I'm pretty sure you know my name. :)

I feel like it's not going to be a ton of us but maybe some others will join closer to the date. My sister might be coming earlier too, in which case she'll join us. yay!

I'll just plan to go there for lunch and hopefully it works out! :)

Ok, I made a reservation for 5 people, Elephant Walk Boston, 6pm, Oct 31. I put vijita's name but gave my phone number, because I know that one. :) I will call and change closer if need be.

Yea!!! I'm so excited!

Yay! I wish I could do lunch as well, maybe, but then making dinner would get interesting. :-\

I'm super bummed that esme can't come, but still stoked (esme, come if you can!). I feel like the Eastern US is a total mystery to be because I've only been to NYC. I hope I don't accidentally wear flip flops with hemp socks and embarrass myself.

Thanks for making the reso ndpittman! I'm looking forward to meeting you guys! Does anyone want vegan kit-kats from Canada or anything?

Yay! I am marking both lunch and dinner in my calendar so I don't forget. I'm pretty excited about the possibility of TWO PPK meals in one day! My fiance might come for dinner, too.

Oh, I just saw this. YES KITKATS, omg. Fiance was just whining the other day about the lack of vegan kitkats and would be super excited (as would I).

I looked in Toronto for vegan kit kats and couldn't find them. Was I blind?!?

In any case, super stoked!

crepe! I just now saw this thread! I want to meet you, too! I don't know if I can meet at either of those times but I'll see if I can wiggle in something.

Err, real quick...what do you guys normally do for airport-Boston downtown transportation? I'm assuming there will be a shuttle taking me near my destination (Back Bay) but if you have any tips or tricks I do like saving money. :) I'll be coming in on Wednesday around 6:30 pm.

There's a shuttle to the T (subway). Blue line to state street, change to orange line to back bay. I think it's inbound, but that gets confusing. It will be the direction 'to Forest Hills'.

Oh and FYI my cat "marked me" last night (she took a particularly sharp claw and gave me a perfectly placed "bhindi" slash third eye slash bleeding wound), so I look kind of like I belong to some weird gang. Bonus, you can find me easily!
