Woohooo! I am definitely going to be there! I have no allergies. I will be coming from work so it would be best if I brought something that can be eaten cold or at room temp like a side or cupcakes! Let me know!

No allergies, but asparagus is gross. I will also be coming from work (VFR, perhaps we can travel together?)

Please let me know: 1.) If you are attending, and 2.) if you have any food allergies/intolerances/dislikes? (This can be via PM if you want to avoid cluttering the thread.)
After I hear how many are coming and what people can't eat, I'll figure out what to make and what to ask you-all to bring (ie, sides, desserts, drink, etc).
I'm excited! 1. Yes for me and VoR! 2. We eat everything (well, everything that is vegan)! 3. I'm more than happy to contribute anything you desire (desserts aren't my strong suit, but anything else goes). 4. Whee!!!!

All are welcome as long as you let me know first (including significant others)--I may have to cap attendance if it gets too high, but we're good now. Let's say let me know before Wednesday the 25th--that will give us all enough time to plan/prepare foods.
So far: Desdemona VoiceofRaisin b.vicious & bf lillianp VeganFoodRocks bap & mr. bap

I'll be there! I can bring anything :) I don't particularly like mushrooms, but if they are in some stuff, I don't mind... it's not an allergy.

I'm just asking in case there's too many people now but if she wants to, can my friend go? I'll know tomorrow whether or not she wants to come.

Now that we've got attendance figured out, food will be as follows:
I'm going roughly middle eastern with the menu. I'll have some cashew goat cheese and fig spread of some sort as an appetizer, pumpkin kibby as an entree, and a salad for the side.
You can bring: a.) an appetizer b.) a side dish c.) a dessert, or b.) a drink to share. It doesn't have to be middle eastern-y. There will be 13 of us total.
For allergies, I can't have nightshades (tomatoes, potatoes, bell peppers, chilis, eggplant). You don't have to make your dish nightshade-free, but it'd be great if you could pay attention to ingredients so I'll know which things I can eat.
ETA: Oh, and it'll be at 7:30. I'll PM you my address/contact info.

I will make a dessert! I'm thinking since its middle eastern that baklava would be a good one! I might try and make an appy or a side too, I will post if I do.
You can clearly ignore my PM about the menu =)

I need to look at some cookbooks at home, but I'm thinking of bringing a side dish.

Right now my plan is to make lentil kofta, which I suppose would be an appetizer, but I have to peruse some more recipes first.

Even know I'm not attending, at other potlucks I've been to we've taken index cards and written the ingredients out on them so that people know if there's an allergen or whatever in it.
SOMEONE MAKE NAMOURA!

Do people want alcoholic-type bevvies or non-alcoholic drinks? I'd love to make something, but with my travel schedule I feel like bringing a drink to share might be more realistic.
