Whoa, sweeeeeeet! Five minute commute to work is killer. That rules, congrats!
I'm also living alone for the first time ever starting next month. Same boat - always lived w/ roommates, SO's or rents. To be honest, I'm a little nervous. Right now, I'm living with three other dudes. Which means if someone broke in, my odds of being stabbed are roughly 25% (assuming the assailant isn't feeling too stabby). Not bad, right? Living alone, my odds increase exponentially (like, to 100)! Also, what if it's haunted? Gah! The first time my cat gets really interested by a blank space on the wall, I'm gtfo of there. JP is probs some massive Native American burial ground.
But Watertown will be totes different!

I live in Watertown 3 months out of the year, but I'm near Watertown Square a 5 minute walk from the library. The other 9 months I'm at school in SoCal. I feel like there are several people here from Watertown. We should have a meet up or something.

Congrats, VFR! I lived alone for the last two years, and as soon as I get a job, I'm back to living alone--it is the way to go! I can't recommend it enough. I will definitely come buy some delicious food from you at Red Lentil, as I've never tried it before. Yesss adventures!
