can anyone recommend a good spot to grab a quick dinner before a show at the Paradise (Comm ave) somewhere in that neighborhood or on the green line on the way (ok technically i would be going red line from alewife first)

i so rarely actually go into Boston that i think each time ive been to the Paradise the surrounding restaurants have changed. the only thing that seems to stay is that McDonald's on a nearby corner :-P

the resteraunt does not have to be a vegan restaurant but obviously still have vegan options.

There's a Spike's on Brighton Ave. about a 10 minute walk from there- just head straight up Comm Ave (away from downtown) and it turns into Brighton. I can't think of much else though there's probably lots of random asian places along Comm Ave too.

There is a great Thai place called Brown Sugar Cafe right near there - not sure if you were going last night in which case this is a late message :)
