my husband and his friend are going to extreme beer fest next weekend and i am their designated driver. i figure my friend and i can go to a vegan or vegan friendly restaurants while i wait for their drunken asparagi.
beer fest is near south station but as long as i can get to whatever restaurant by T im not restricted to that area.
ive been to Grasshopper a bunch of times. i dont want to go to Peace o Pie because if i walked my asparagus all the way their i would probably go to Grasshopper instead. im thinking of going to Veggie Galaxy since ive never been but i wasnt sure if there were some other good restaurants i should check out. when i do go to Boston i often end up near Veggie Galaxy so iw ill certainly be there in the future.

Veggie Planet and Veggie Galaxy are both accessible by T and are really good!
Eta: Go to Veggie Galaxy because there's a vegan bakery inside!

Another vote for Veggie Galaxy - it's like a proper old-timey diner, only with lots of stuff we can actually eat!

Chinatown is also nearby (and totally walkable to/from South Station) and has My Thai, which is a vegan Asian place, as well as several vegan-friendly restaurants.

i think we decided on Veggie Planet. it looks like it has a better menu than Veggie Galaxy and ill try Veggie Galaxy next time i got to the MidEast or TTs.
