While we were driving through Connecticut we saw billboards for this place advertising their vegan and gf selection. The limited vegan menu looks pretty good. Anyone ever been?

I ate at the Shoreline Diner in Guilford a few years back when I was driving through CT, and I'm pretty sure it's the same owners. I wasn't impressed with that place at all, I think I had vegan ravioli and it tasted exactly like they had just heated up some frozen SoyBoy ravioli and threw some canned sauce on it. Anyway, it's cool these places have vegan options but if it's anything like the Guilford location probably not worth going out of your way for.

i went to georgie's diner when i first moved to new haven last summer. i had a reuben and unfortunately i thought it was pretty gross. i had just arrived here from san francisco/oakland though and had much higher standards for restaurants back then, so maybe other people would enjoy it more than i did.
Georgie's is better than Shoreline, but not by much... The only thing going for it (in my opinion) is that my non-veg friends will go there with me because they also serve meat dishes. I would not recommend anyone travel to check it out, it really is not worth it...
