Who will be going to the Boston VegFest this weekend? If hubby is over his cold, we'll be there! We've gone the past three years and always have fun, despite the crowds.

This will be the thing I miss most about living in the Boston area. Have fun, everyone!

I will, probably! CQ wants to go and I think a bunch of us vaguely talked about going together?

Yea! I'd like to go. I'd really like to meet up with people though because I always get to intimated and bail early on stuff like this. I'm ok with going early on Saturday as lillianp and CQ were discussing in another thread.

I went on Sunday afternooon... there were great food samples available and lots of vegan organizations represented... but it was too darned hot and way too crowded. We also wanted to hear a couple of speakers speak and the room that the speaker was speaking in was far too crowded to even get into. I mean, it's great that there's so many people interested in attending a vegfest, but they need a bigger venue! :/

I went on Sunday too and yes it was soo hot. Also I felt like overall it wasn't as good as previous years. Not as many samples and it seemed some of the bigger companies were missing this time. Vegan Gourmet/FYH started cleaning up their stuff while I was still there which I thought was weird, it wasn't even the end of the day or anything The Qdoba samples were good though, and Gardein as usual was good.
