My friend and I are going to a show at Berklee this Saturday. Any good places to eat in the vicinity? My friend is omni and says she usually goes to trident cafe when she's in that area but there couple choices do not excite me.

I haven't tried it myself yet but I've heard Typhoon is good (expensive though) http://www.typhoonboston.com/ Check the hours if you're going there though -- I remember the one time I tried to go, they were closed at a time when it seemed to me like a restaurant would be open, but I don't remember what time that was and it was a couple years ago.

Trident isn't bad if you're short on $. You can basically design your own tofu scramble. Definitely not the most exciting but I've never been sad that I went there, and it is RIGHT there if convenient location is a priority.

You're in a bit of a tough part of Boston for good vegan food. Not sure how fancy you're looking for, but I'm in that area with omnis I usually end up at Boloco (because burritos) or b.Good. For other chain options, there's a Wagamama in the area but they changed their menu last year and made it a lot less vegan-friendly.

Disclaimer: I went to high school in Back Bay and these days only go infrequently to hang out in the mall. Definitely listen to CQ over me

Oh and I see you're all set, but I wanted to add for a quick stop/coffee, Pavement Coffee is pretty sweet and has good bagels and veggietofu spread: http://pavementcoffeehouse.com
There are 2 or 3 locations in the Back Bay/Fenway area.
