Hello!
Here's the deal: two of my favorite musicians are coming over from Britain to Boston in rapid succession - Marina & the Diamonds on June 20th at the Paradise Rock Club (tickets aren't on sale yet), and Florence + the Machine on June 23rd at the Bank of America Pavilion (thankfully I found out the presale code and was able to snap up a ticket this morning). My question is: does anyone have room in their hearts (or on their couch) for a super friendly, awesome vegan for any combination of these dates? I could cook for you, wash your windows, vacuum, scrub your bathroom from floor to ceiling, walk your dog(s), or install vinyl siding on your house (I can't actually do that last thing).
Lemme know!

I'm not exactly sure where in Boston I'll be living (either the North End or Davis Square - it depends on if my boyfriend moves in with me or if I move in with him) but I'd be happy to offer a couch (or a more vegan air mattress, our couches are super old hand-me-down leather). Both Paradise and BoA Pavillion would be pretty easy to get to from either neighborhood. Would you stay in Boston for the days in between? If so, I'd have to check with the guy before offering for the entire time, but a night or two is fine, I'm sure!
Allergy warning: I have 2 fluffy cats and live in a building that is old and probably moldy (I don't notice it).

Well, I'm pretty allergic to cats, but that's nothing some Benadryl can't ease (and knock me out to boot). Obviously any plans I have are very nebulous at the moment, but I'll know more as it gets closer. Thanks so much for the offer!

Correction. Possibly a major one. I think. So the Facebook note that Marina and the Diamonds posted says that she's coming to Boston June 20th, however, her website says April 20th. Big difference.
I'll find out which it is!!

April 20th, I'll definitely still be in the North End (about a 30-40 minute trip by T from the Paradise). The offer stands, if you think you won't die from the cats. It's a pretty small apartment, so there isn't really anywhere in it that is cat-hair free. I'm fine with being a back-up plan if you don't find anywhere else to stay :)
Funny that it isn't on Paradise's website. I'd also be willing (ok, love to) to go to Marina & the Diamonds with you if it's on April 20th, I don't have class that week and I thought about seeing her last time that she came to town, but I had class or something else planned and couldn't. If you want a concert buddy (whether you stay with me or not) let me know!

I'd love a concert buddy! Now to find out what month it is...
ETA: Okay, so both sources say June now.
