I guilted my dad and husband into going here with me last night, and I loved it SO MUCH! I was a gluttonous fool, and I'm OK with that.

We had the pate, mesclun salad, and fried oyster mushrooms to start; I had the sweet potato stuffing roulade and a fair amount of my dad's crusted tempeh (with lentils and leeks!), and the coconut pie for dessert. Husband got the green curry which I wasn't crazy about, but I'm not a huge green curry fan by any means, so I think it was just that I don't like those particular flavors.

I cannot wait to go again!! Husband and Dad agreed that it was a really nice place, but they were kind of jerks about the whole thing. They couldn't ruin it for me though. I was in food heaven!

Have you been there? What did you get? Did you love it?

I keep wanting to go back here! Money's been a little tight this winter, but I keep telling myself as soon as I have something to celebrate, we're going!

I have only been for dinner once, but I got the same things as you (mushrooms, roulade, coconut pie)! I couldn't believe how tasty those oyster mushrooms were.

Have you been for brunch? It's so good, and the prices are much more reasonable.

Oh, my god, that tofu benedict. And the biscuits! And the hair-on-your-chest-inspiring Bloody Marys ("Maries"?)!

We have been there so many times that it's a little embarrassing - the owners and waitstaff are always like, "Hey, you guys again!" - but we don't care. (And since I'll be going to school literally around the corner at Tufts, that's not going to change!) We were just there for my b-day, and my partner had the pappardelle (which is amazing starchy comfort food), and I loved my green curry, but not everyone goes for that combination of flavors. Our server told us they'll be changing the menu for spring/summer, so we should maybe try for another meet-up before too long!

I haven't even looked at the brunch menu. Thank goodness I'm not closer or I'd be broke. Happy, but broke! I loved the roulade, but I couldn't help thinking, man, this tastes of autumn. Probably my favorite food season, so I didn't mind in the least of course.

The weird thing about curry to me is that I think I screwed up my mind that I like yellow curry and no others. I think I just need to give it an honest shot. I always thought I hated beets until this year!

Would anyone be interested in a brunch time foray?

Always. And it sounds like Desdemona and VoiceOfRaisin are always up for it, too.

I haven't been there yet, but I keep mentioning it to my partner. I really want to go! They know me at the Grasshopper. I need a new place. Their menu looks awesome.

I really want to go here.

I'm bringing my entire family here for my graduation dinner, but I would totally be open to eating here some other time, too.

Like, always, always! We're away the weekend of May 13-15, and the 8th is Mother's day (I no longer have a mother - *sniff* - but I do have children); other than that, we can probably be pretty flexible in the upcoming!

It's so so so good. I'm so broke and can't go anytime soon and that makes me sad.

Oh no! I just looked at the brunch menu, and I need to go as soon as possible. Does May 21 or 22 work for anyone? I know we're edging on graduation time, so I'm not sure if that'd work or not.

That was my reaction, too. How to choose?? This just justifies multiple visits!

Saturdays are usually good for me, but I'm typically pretty tired + hungover on Sundays, though I could probably force myself to haul asparagus out of bed for some vegan cocktails and brunch.

Saturday would be best for me (better train schedule), and I think I'm free on the 21st!

I'll try to keep the 21st clear too. We usually celebrate my birthday that weekend so I may be out of town, but we will try to make it!
