Named after the Dawson Creek actress, our Monica Keena is a beautiful baby who could be a healthy, pudgy kitten, if not for the fact that she was born with a cleft palate.
Because of this birth defect, her growth has been slowed considerably. Eight weeks old and only half the size of the rest of her litter, Monica is now getting round-the-clock attention of PAWS volunteers who are helping to hand feed her and teach her how to get that nutrition down to her starving stomach.
Once she is bigger and stronger, Monica will need expensive surgery to repair this rare condition. But, so far, she is otherwise healthy and oh-so-loveable! Don't you agree that she deserves a chance for a full life?
