I'm visiting the folks this weekend, so I'll see what board games are still over there. I know we used to have some of the classics like Scrabble, Monopoly, Life, etc.

Oliver says he'll dress up if other people do! He'll be embarrassed if he's the only one in costume! ;)

I have a game to play! and I have uke class until 3:20 but is it ok with everybody if I come late??? I want to meet vegan friends! :)

Okay, Chi-Town PPKers! It's Gingerbread House Time. I'd like to have the party on Saturday, December 8, at 7pm. Does that work for people?

Yay! I am really excited. I will bring some frostings & candies for decorating the houses. I plan on baking lots of cookies for the cookie exchange too!

I am also thinking of bringing a lighter dish, maybe an appetizer of some sort. Something other than sugar might be nice to munch on while we assemble our gingerbread houses!

That sounds good. I might make soup or something, too.

Just to let everyone know, I am no longer eating gluten. :( I have discovered that I have a sensitivity.
My cookies with be made normal with gluten flours. I am too intimidated by gluten free cookie recipes at the moment!

My other dish with be gluten free. Not quite sure what that'll be, but I am thinking something on the lighter side.

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday!

Jeni, if you bring some sturdy gluten-free crackers, I will glue them in to a house for you.

Aww, Jeni you should be able to have cookies too! Maybe I'll do some experimenting with gluten free baking in the next few days. I can't guarantee anything, but I'll give it a try!

You are too kind! :) I am planning on trying out some gluten free cookie recipes too. I just don't want to buy a bunch of different flours and the cookies don't come out!
