I'm thinking about coming late August, maybe Aug. 23-26. (happy birthday southwest!)
i have no real reason for going. i want to eat vegan foods, hike, and catch some music.
thoughts?
advice/tips/must see places

Ahhhhhhhhhh! I won't be there then! You can definitely do all of those things, but to hike, I would definitely head outside the city to Mahoney State Park- about 20 minutes outside of Omaha. You're probably going to need a car- we are not a walkable town, and our public transport sucks. That being said, if you plan smart, and depending on where you stay, you can get away with maybe just having a car one day. You can walk from Slowdown to the Old Market, but it is kind of a long walk. There's lots of great stuff to eat and see and do! What are you thinking?

i have no idea what im thinking yet. ill post more this week after i do some research. i really just cant resist a cheap flight

bleh. i decided to stick with just new york. this summer is kicking my asparagus, so i will be mentally dead by then (school non stop for 3 months). ill try again next year! thanks!
