I'm taking my 11-year-old twins to the Twinsburg OH twin festival next weekend. I'm traveling from MN to OH. Wondering about vegan places to stop at along the way and also places near Twinsburg.

If you're going that far, maybe you could hit Vegiterranean?

Not sure what route one takes from Minnesota, but this link might help, too. If you're coming in on 90, there's nothing at all that I can think of until you hit Lakewood.

I was thinking about Vegiterranean, but wasn't sure if it's kid-friendly. I looked up the menu online and I think it sounds great, but I'm not sure if my girls would like it.

I've been looking up things on Happy Cow, but I just feel overwhelmed. I've never been to that area before and I'm just not sure what to expect. And with the 14-hour drive I'm not sure how much I'll want to stop at places along the way, but it would be nice once we're actually there if we could find some vegan places or at least really good health food stores.

The way I'm going is through Wisconsin, Chicago, northern Indiana (south bend, gary), and then I do come in on 90 to Twinsburg, which appears to be in the middle of Cleveland and Akron.

Tommy's in Cleveland Hts. is definitely kid friendly. That might be an option. One other idea is to have a pizza at Whole Foods.

Mustard Seed Market in Akron has a cafe/restaurant, but I've never eaten there.

I wish I'd seen this sooner! I'm from very close to there (all of the twins used to come in to the store where I worked as a teenager, ha). I hope it went well!
