I'm traveling to Chicago with a buncha non-vegans and would like to plan a fine-dining experience that will be enjoyable to all. You know, white tableclothes, a somelier, those little bread crumb scrapers. But vegan - or barring that, vegan friendly. Anything like that downtown? Think Candle 79 in NYC or Millenium in SF... Any local advice you can give is much appreciated!

IMHO, Karyn's on Green is probably the closest thing to Candle 79 or Millennium in Chicago. The Green Zebra is a fancy pants vegetarian place, but ironically enough I have had an easier time being vegan in omni restaurants than I did there.

In was trying to say "In my humble opinion" and abbreviate it, but somehow it came out saying "I'm a ho". (Thank you, board, for the laugh.)
