I forgot to ever update on my visit- Chicago Diner is amazing, I ate there twice. The breakfast plate with hashbrowns, sausage and gravy was amazing as was the BBQ cheeseburger. Besides that, all I got to try was a Chicago-style sausage at Revolution which was ok but the bread was kind of stale. Chicago-style sausages are interesting, though, I'm down with the neon-green relish.
Aside from that, I went to the Whole Foods near Chicago Diner and bought some pre-made wraps made by Upton's Seitan that were delicious. I think that's basically all I ate, though. I wish I had been able to try out Quesadilla, but I never made it.

Sundays work for us, sometimes my husband has band practice, but that's the sort of thing that's flexible.

I can do those sundays! Also, Chicago, I just found out and I feel it is imperative you know: Ian's Pizza in Wrigleyville is doing a vegan chili cheese fry pizza by the slice until Friday!

Yes, that reminds me, can we do a meetup at Ian's at some point? I want to go somewhere where I can get fer'real pizza with vegan meats and cheeses, not just cheeseless (and delicious) veggie pie.

Yay! So it looks like we're on for a Sunday meetup. Should we do the 6th or the 13th? Lunch or dinner? Do we still want to do Quesadilla? I'd definitely be up for doing Ian's too. Wish I could make it there for the chili cheese fry pizza!

13th is better for me, just cause I get my IUD put in on the 3rd, and it's my first, so I don't know how quick I'll be back to 100% functional.
