Hey MKE-PPK! I am trying to find a place to do pie for my wedding in about 5 months. The wedding is about 2 hours north-west of Milwaukee, so it doesn't have to be someone right in the city. Any thoughts for pie around here?

My first thought is East Side Ovens. I'm not sure about pie at Beans and Barley, but they did a big cake for my baby shower.

(P.S. Congrats!!)

have you asked jess at compassionate cake? i don't know off-hand if she does pies, but every other single thing i've eaten of hers has been amazing (and beautiful).

Thanks, guys! I did think about Compassionate Cakes, but I haven't asked her yet. She is on my list. Yay, pie!

What about asking Comet Cafe? They make some tasty vegan desserts. I've never ordered any catering through them, but they may be able to work something out!
